A 33-year-old woman with vaginal bleeding caused by retained placenta. a. Color doppler TVUS showed vascularity (arrowhead) in the uteroplacental tissue. b. Microcatheter was inserted into the blood sinus feeding artery. Target embolization was performed using GS. e. Post-embolization left uterine arteriography confirmed disappearance of the dilated vascular channel. f. At 2 days after the TAE procedure, the intrauterine hyper vascular lesion disappeared on TVUS. In this case, expectant management after TAE was chosen and no re-bleeding was observed
