The phantom was derived from a CT angiography dataset of a female patient suffering from an infrarenal aortic aneurysm. The skeleton was manufactured using 3D printing that was equipped with radiopaque coating. Vessel entry was possible via removable sluices in the communal femoral arteries, the ascending aorta and the supra-aortic vessels
