Balloon anchoring technique. ad Sequential images demonstrate successful utilisation of the balloon anchoring technique. Initial access was obtained using a 5Fr diagnostic catheter and 0.035 hydrophilic wire. An 8.0 × 40 mm Armada balloon (black arrow) was subsequently inflated and used as an anchor to advance the 6Fr NeuronMAX 088 guide sheath (thin white arrows).
